Lewis Kimberly is an award-winning children’s author, poet, fiction writer, member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and publicity chairman for the Henderson Writers Group and the Las Vegas Writers Conference from 2007-2009.
In 2007 Kimberly founded the Dare to Dream Program to aid schools and organizations foster a love of learning through books by skillfully weaving artistic and practical disciplines into everyday academics. Students learn to follow their curiosity, to think creatively and encouraged to develop their reading and writing skills. Her high quality, high energy programs are augmented with colorful illustrations, humorous tales, and inspiring words that stimulate conversation and spark enthusiasm for students to pursue their own dreams.

Prior to becoming a full-time writer and professional speaker, Kimberly was successful in business management and spent over sixteen years in marketing and advertising. This experience has given her confidence and a reputation as being a leader within her community.
Lewis Kimberly is an accomplished writer with the release of, Granny McFanny, One For the Books (excerpt), and Mischievous Sun, which she proudly accepted the Editors Choice Award for her submission. She has over half a dozen additional titles pending and her second book in the Granny McFanny series, Granny McFanny World Traveler, should be released in 2009-2010. As of 2009, Kimberly began writing a dramatic screenplay titled The Shepherd.
Lewis Kimberly has presented keynote speeches, workshops, and presentations within the Las Vegas, Southern California, and Utah areas and has entertained thousands of children and adult audiences with her motivational presentations. She instills integrity, compassion and confidence for each child to become their own unique self and ignites them to Dare to Dream.
