Educate through books The dare to dream program educates students on fiction vs. non-fiction, biography vs. autobiography, building storylines and plots, simplifying character development through identifiable relationships (ie: hero vs. villain), adding conflicts and twists, and stimulating conversation and student participation to leave readers with a smile. It also touches on the illustration process, layout and design, and end product result while sharing colorful sketches that enlighten young minds to both the art of writing, and illustration process. Plenty of time is reserved for questions and answers that leave the students, not only, with the confidence to achieve, succeed, be who they want to be, but also sparks enthusiasm to Dare to Dream.

Mission Statement
Dare to Dream recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each child. Founded by a children’s author, the organization’s primary mission is to foster a love of learning by educating through books. Our curriculum skillfully weaves artistic and practical disciplines into everyday academics. Students learn to follow their curiosity, to think creatively, and encouraged to develop their reading and writing skills. At Dare to Dream we celebrate diversity and strive to instill integrity, compassion and confidence in each child. We give each child the support to become his or her own unique self and ignite them to pursue their dreams.
